Lomond Brass, recent winners of the Bucharest International Music Competition, is made up of musicians from the Royal Scottish National Orchestra, the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra and the Orchestra of Scottish Opera, representing the best of Scottish Brass playing. Their members have travelled the world with some of the UK’s finest orchestras, including the London Symphony Orchestra, London Philharmonic Orchestra, BBC Symphony Orchestra and the Philharmonia Orchestra. Individually, their members have won solo performance prizes from the Royal Academy of Music, Royal College of Music and Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and are all keen chamber musicians alongside their full-time positions.
